Frequently Asked Questions
How do we get started?
The best way to get started is by scheduling an appointment with the showroom location closest to you. This ensures we can give you dedicated time and attention to discuss your project.
How do we get an estimate?
We can begin using photos and measurements provided by the client, or we can arrange for our field manager to visit and take precise measurements of the space. After that, you’ll schedule a showroom appointment with your designer to review the design, material selections, and estimate.
What are the next steps?
Once you’re ready to move forward with the project, a material deposit will be required. Payment can be made by check or credit card (a 3% processing fee applies). Upon receipt of the deposit, we will schedule your installation dates.
How long will my project take?
In-stock materials are typically scheduled for installation within 4–6 weeks, while custom cabinetry generally carries a lead time of 4–6 months. Depending on the size and scope of the project, the actual kitchen installation can often be completed in as little as one weekweek.
Who handles the cabinet and countertop installation?
All of our installers are in-house professionals who exclusively install our cabinets and countertops. This ensures quality and consistency across every project.
Who fabricates the countertops?
Yes, we do. All countertop fabrication is completed in-house by our dedicated fabricators, who work exclusively for our company.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes, we are fully licensed and insured. Our contractor’s license and COI are available upon request.
How much will my project cost?
Every kitchen is unique, and pricing varies based on the layout and design, material selections, and cabinet features or inserts chosen for the project. We tailor every kitchen to fit your style, functional needs, and budget.
Do I need an appointment?
We recommend scheduling an appointment so we can dedicate time specifically to your project. That said, we’re always happy to welcome walk-ins if our designers are not currently with another client.
How long have you been in business?
We have been proudly serving our customers since 2006.
Where are you located?
We have three showroom locations in Virginia—Richmond, Newport News, and Virginia Beach—along with a Norfolk warehouse that houses our cabinet inventory and serves as our countertop fabrication facility, ensuring a seamless production and installation process.
What if I don’t like the stock cabinet options?
No problem. We offer a wide range of custom cabinetry options, including any Benjamin Moore paint color and a variety of custom door styles to help create the perfect look for your space.
What countertops do you offer?
We offer a wide selection of granite, quartzite, marble, and quartz countertops. In addition to our competitively priced in-stock quartz and granite options, we also provide access to an extensive range of natural stone and different quartz brands through our trusted local stone yard partners, including UMI, MSI, Triton Stone Group, Architectural Surfaces, and Easy Stone.
